Rose Anne Vaars Burns

Raised in North Minneapolis, Rose Anne had two brothers and two sisters. She married Tom Burns, and they had six children; two daughters and four brothers (the ones who acted as the Marx brothers). She inherited the talent of sewing and for a time held a job at Munsingwear. She held on to the amethyst ring at the request of Sister Antonis, and eventually gave it to her daughter, Dot.She was remembered as a hard-working and kind woman.
