Yes, the story of the ring is true! Pictured below, is the ring that traveled through many owners to survive to today, whose current owner is the author. It’s been a joy to write about it and wear it. I want it to remain in the Kerker line, so it is logical to have Elizabeth be the next custodian; who has graciously accepted to be the next in line, and is also pictured here. My favored amethyst ring has traveled from Chaska, to Minneapolis, to Raleigh, NC, and now on to its new home in New England.
