Gretta introduces Ivy to Reilly one day on the playground. Gretta and Ivy are drawn to Reilly because he is friendly and kind. Reilly has experienced two seizures, but they're mostly controlled with medication. Reilly is spirited and loves to play. The three spend time at each other's homes, and Reilly likes Ivy's brother Gunner, too. Reilly is protective of his two best friends, Ivy and Gretta, and they in turn help him whenever they can.
