I’ve posted a picture of Agnes’s gravesite. No one will ever quite know with certainty whether or not her cause of death was suicide.The inquest was a collection of townspeople who provided their subjective opinions, to the best of their recollection.The inquest record no longer exists. The currents of the Minnesota river are fierce. Whatever actually occurred, her death changed the trajectory of the rest of her family members forever.
